Music education master’s student selected for annual graduate showcase at CSU

Sarah Butler, Master of Music in Music Education with Kodaly Emphasis degree student, was selected to present her research at CSU’s Graduate Showcase on Tuesday November 12, 2019.

Her topic is: “A Culturally Responsive Mindset: Meaningfully Incorporating Spanish Language Music in the Elementary Music Classroom”

The event is a showcase of research, entrepreneurship and creativity — a one-day conference for grad students to present their work and talents, to connect with other graduate students and faculty at CSU, learn about other disciplines, and gain conference experience.

Scholarships ranging in value and totaling more than $15,000 will be awarded at the event presented by the Graduate School and the Vice President for Research Office.

We wish Sarah all the best as she prepares her presentation!
