2026 CMEA Continuing Education Credit Details
As a unique benefit to those attending the annual Colorado Music Educators Association conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado State University will once again offer Continuing Education Unit Credit during the 2026 event, which will be held at the Broadmoor on Jan. 28–31. The credit can be used for re-licensure and salary step increments.
CSU representatives will be available for assistance at the conference on Thursday, Jan. 30, 8 a.m. - noon; and Friday, Jan. 31, 8-10 a.m. Please visit our table in the CMEA main registration area during these times or at our exhibit booth (#37) outside of these times.
2026 Cost/Registration:
- $115: 1 credit hour (attendance/reflections on 13 units of CMEA sessions)
- $230: 2 credit hours (attendance/reflections on 26 units of CMEA sessions)
- Registration closes on February 14, 2026.
- Registration is only accessible via this link and cannot be found by searching the CSU Online website.
- Please note that this course cannot be dropped and is not eligible for a refund.
- After you submit your registration request via the hidden link, you will receive a registration confirmation via email within 24 to 72 hours. The confirmation will provide your CSU ID and instructions on how to pay your bill through RAMRecord.

2026 Assignment
- Your summary and reflections about each unit (approx. an hour of instruction) can be submitted electronically through email or via Canvas, CSU's online course portal.
- The online assignment allows for attending 13/26 sessions, including workshops, concerts, masterclasses, lectures, and all professional organization meetings.
- Each reflection should be a brief, one-to-two-paragraph reflection summarizing content and applicability to your work as a music educator.
- Reflections must be submitted to Jessica.Warner@colostate.edu by Feb. 20, 2026
2026 Grades
- Grades will be assessed and posted as Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. Grades will be submitted to the Registrar's Office the first week of March 2026. If your submitted assignment is assessed as Unsatisfactory, the instructor will reach out with specific feedback and give you an opportunity to reach Satisfactory status by March 1.
