Masterclasses, Camps, and Special Events

06.03.20 UPDATE: School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in-person events originally scheduled through July 31, 2020 have been cancelled.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance’s decision to cancel all June and July programs housed in the University Center for the Arts was made according to guidance from University health officials and current local, state, and CDC public health orders and guidelines. SMTD is committed to the health of all students, faculty, staff and patrons and will resume operations according to official guidance when more information is available.

For up-to-date information on COVID-19, please visit the CSU Public Safety site.

Outreach is among the pillars upon which Colorado State University was founded and is an effort that continues today through interaction with our Colorado communities and around the globe. CSU’s commitment to community is a reflection of the University’s promise of service and engagement to Colorado citizens, executed by providing resources, participating in events, and building community partnerships.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers a wide range of performing arts experiences including annual favorites and exciting new programs designed for secondary students, adults, and youth. Fees are sometimes associated with the programs and registration is usually required. Many of the events feature nightly concerts and master classes which are open to the public. Programming takes place at the world-class University Center for the Arts (UCA), an exquisite performance and exhibition venue for music, theatre, dance, and art. We hope to see you, your students, and children this year!
