Percussion Professor Shilo Stroman works with marching bands across the state

Shilo Stroman headshotShilo Stroman, senior instructor of music for percussion and marching band drumline, shared his marching expertise with many Colorado high school marching bands throughout the competitive season. “Now that the marching band season in Colorado is officially over, I’d like to thank the ensembles who trusted me to create music for them,” said Stroman after the finals. “It was a busy year and I’m proud to work with these ensembles and congratulate them on a great season!”

Stroman worked with the following schools on their Colorado Bandmasters Association competition shows.

  • Horizon High School (winds and percussion): 8th place and first time in finals
  • Chatfield Senior High School (winds and percussion): 10th place

4A

  • Monarch High School (winds): 2nd place and first time medaling
  • Littleton High School (winds, percussion, and sound design) 7th place
  • Dakota Ridge High School (winds and percussion) 10th place
  • Liberty High School (percussion)

3A

  • D’Evelyn Jr.-Sr. High School (percussion) 1st place

2A

  • Elizabeth High School (winds and percussion) 2nd place
  • Eaton High School (winds and percussion) 3rd place

1A

  • Rye High School (first marching band in more than 20 years)
