04.28.2010 – The Colorado State University Marching Band has been awarded the university’s Advancement Award, recognizing the band’s fall texting campaign, as well as their many special performances throughout the 2009 fall semester. The award was presented to band representatives by Ann Gill, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. The monetary award, along with funds received from the texting campaign, went to the CSU Marching Band Scholarship Endowment which generates annual scholarships for marching band students.
