About Tim Sanchez
Tim Sanchez graduated from CSU in 2017 with a B.M. in Percussion Performance and Music Composition. He marched cymbals his first year, then bass for three years as well as basketball band and presidential pep band all four years. Tim’s final home game was also the final game at Hughes Stadium. After graduating, Tim continued performing in bands and musical pits, recording original pieces, and teaching high school drum line. He started working as a wedding DJ in 2018, which helped him to develop skills as an announcer. With his newfound interest, he thought back on the announcements made during his CSU halftime and pregame shows. While attending Drums Along The Rockies at Canvas Stadium in the summer of 2022, he knew that one day he wanted to make announcements in this stadium and was overjoyed to see the opportunity arise. Announcing for the CSUMB is now a way for him to stay connected to the marching arts while still being able to perform and support his Alma Mater. Tim believes that the Marching Band is an important part of the CSU experience for all students and alumni so he hopes to contribute to the gameday spirit for all CSU fans.
