The CSU Percussion Ensemble Festival features a concert and a presentation to the participating ensembles of the Percussive Arts Society Percussion Ensemble Festival. The annual event was held on Saturday, April 26 at the University Center for the Arts.
Participating high schools included Fossil Ridge High School, Loveland High School, Cherry Creek High School, and Rocky Mountain High School. Fossil Ridge High School's Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Aaron Hermanson, won the competition.
Guest artists/clinicians included Dr. Dave Hall from the University of North Texas and Dr. Andrew Eldridge from the University of Texas at Arlington.
The event concluded with a CSU Percussion Ensemble concert under the direction of CSU Percussion Professor Dr. Eric Hollenbeck.
