2024 CSU Marching Band Parade of Lights

The CSU Marching Band returns to the 2023 9NEWS Parade of Lights, leading the annual event through downtown Denver on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m.

The Colorado State Marching Band is the only university marching band to participate in the Parade of Lights and has led the parade through downtown Denver for 16 years running! The CSU Marching Band is a dynamic student organization with more than 250 members representing every college on campus and more than 50 majors. Members hail from across the country states. Joining the band are CAM the Ram, the CSU Ramhandlers, and the CSU Spirit Squad.

Please note that there will not be a hometown parade preview at the University Center for the Arts this year.

CSU’s musicians, color guard, and Golden Poms, joined by CSU Cheer and Cam the Ram, will lead the numerous floats, balloons, and dozens of holiday characters as the only collegiate marching band in the parade.

The band will stop at the CSU Denver Center, 475 17th St., to perform the fight song for alumni and Ram fans.
