DESCRIPTION:The CSU Marching Band returns to the 2024 9NEWS Parade of Light
 s\, leading the annual event through downtown Denver on Saturday\, Dec. 7\
 , at 6 p.m.\n\nThe Colorado State Marching Band is the only university mar
 ching band to participate in the Parade of Lights and has led the parade t
 hrough downtown Denver for 16 years running! The CSU Marching Band is a dy
 namic student organization with more than 250 members representing every c
 ollege on campus and more than 50 majors. Members hail from across the cou
 ntry states. Joining the band are CAM the Ram\, the CSU Ramhandlers\, and 
 the CSU Spirit Squad.\n\nPlease note that there will not be a hometown par
 ade preview at the University Center for the Arts this year.\n\nParade wat
 ching in Denver\n\nThis year’s Parade of Lights only takes place on Satu
 rday\, Dec. 7. The two-mile parade begins at the Denver Civic Center and w
 inds through downtown\, concluding at the corner of 14th Street and Glenar
 m Place.\n\nCSU’s musicians\, color guard\, and Golden Poms\, joined by 
 CSU Cheer and Cam the Ram\, will lead the numerous floats\, balloons\, and
  dozens of holiday characters as the only collegiate marching band in the 
 parade.\n\nThe band will stop at the CSU Denver Center\, 475 17th St.\, to
  perform the fight song for alumni and Ram fans.
