CSU Brass Area students will be featured in an evening of chamber music combining two previously postponed concert programs.
The first half of the concert will showcase undergraduate and graduate brass students playing chamber pieces that are dramatic or connected to faded memories as a salute to Tennessee Williams’ famous play The Glass Menagerie.
The second half features the CSU Trombone Studio in music composed and arranged for trombone ensemble performed by both the full 16-person CSU Trombone Choir, as well as the CSU Trombone Octet. A wide variety of pieces will be performed that showcase the beauty and versatility of the trombone ensemble, including works by Michael Terry, Giovanni Gabrieli, David Wilborn, James Naigus, and Edvard Grieg.
