Middle School Outreach Ensembles

An Inspiring Music Learning Experience for Developing Middle School Musicians

The Middle School Outreach Ensembles @CSU provide an inspirational large ensemble experience in addition to the great instruction that students receive in their middle school band and orchestra programs.

The two bands and one orchestra are for middle school band students from the Fort Collins area; the addition of two new ensembles for 2017 provide an opportunity for students with varying levels of experience on their instrument. Over a period of three months, students will receive instruction in large ensemble rehearsals and individualized attention in small-group sectionals.

Join the ensembles for 11 weeks of exciting ensemble and sectional rehearsals taught by CSU faculty, undergraduate and graduate music education majors, and select high school band students. The program concludes with a concert in the state-of-the-art Griffin Concert Hall at the University Center for the Arts at Colorado State University.
