Lindsey Wilhelm, PhD, MT-BC, holds degrees in music therapy from Colorado State University (B.M.) and the University of Iowa (M.A., Ph.D.). A board-certified music therapist since 2007, Dr. Wilhelm has worked with both children and adults in a variety of community, educational, rehabilitative, and medical settings. As a member of the American Music Therapy Association, Dr. Wilhelm serves as archivist for the American Music Therapy Association. Her current research areas and interests include the application of music experiences to improve functional outcomes for aging adults; and students’ self-care practices.
