Biography
Jenna Moore holds master’s degrees for Arts Leadership & Cultural Management and Flute Performance from Colorado State University. Jenna has worked in administrative roles for local symphony orchestras including the Fort Collins Symphony (FCS) and Longmont Symphony Orchestra (LSO). She was instrumental in the first FCS planned giving event and assisted in leading the orchestra’s Open Notes community education program. Jenna performed as the second flutist with the LSO and served as their Orchestra Personnel Manager. Jenna planned events with the National Flute Association and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Jenna created a successful free recital at the Fort Collins Senior Center for community members who rarely have access to live music in a social setting. Jenna performed in the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, and the Prague Multicultural Orchestra. Jenna’s performance honors include selection as a 2024 CSU Concerto Competition winner, second place in the 2022 SAI Triennial Graduate Performance Woodwind Competition, winning the 2022 JoAnne Kyhl Memorial Performance Competition, and a 2021 masterclass selection with Lady Jeanne Galway. Jenna currently performs in chamber ensembles for Denver and Northern Colorado areas.
Jenna is a proud CSU alum! She performed in the CSU Marching Band throughout her undergraduate program, served as a piccolo section leader for three seasons, and participated in both the Presidential Pep and Rampage Basketball Bands. Jenna has served as the principal flutist for the University Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Opera Orchestra, and she was the president of Sigma Alpha Iota’s Mu Tau Chapter. She aspires to create opportunities for music students to travel and perform internationally.
