"The addition of John Carlo Pierce to our outstanding voice faculty provides yet another reason that CSU should be considered an optimal choice for students wishing to pursue the study of voice," said Dan Goble, director of the School of Music, Theatre and Dance.

About the CSU Voice Area
At Colorado State University, all voice majors study extensively with the full faculty of voice professors. Sophomores through graduate level students receive one-on-one voice instruction, as well as attend a weekly studio class, and freshmen study in the innovative Freshman Voice Studio. Each semester, all applied voice students perform a jury for the voice faculty, and students regularly perform in ensembles, Ralph Opera Center productions, and area recitals. Many additional opportunities are available including master classes with renowned guest artists and involvement in the region's successful performing arts organizations, fostering the development of well-rounded students, world-class performers, and successful teachers.
