The Colorado State Marching Band and the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance welcome alumna Jenna Moore as the new Athletic Band Administrator and Ensemble Recruitment Coordinator.
Jenna Moore holds master’s degrees in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management, and Flute Performance. She has worked in administrative roles for local symphony orchestras, including the Fort Collins Symphony and Longmont Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Moore is a proud CSU Marching Band alum, having performed in the band throughout her undergraduate program.
“Jenna will be an extremely valued addition to the band staff, coordinating major events, managing personnel and equipment inventories, and seeing to the business administration of the program,” said Jayme Taylor, director of athletic bands at CSU. Ms. Moore will also be a recruiter and ambassador for the entire School at events on and off campus.
About Jenna Moore
Jenna Moore holds master’s degrees in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management and Flute Performance from Colorado State University (CSU, ’24). Ms. Moore has worked in administrative roles for the Fort Collins Symphony, where she planned giving events and assisted in leading the orchestra’s Open Notes community education program, and the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, where she served as orchestra personnel manager. She has worked, planning events, with the National Flute Association, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, and the Fort Collins Senior Center. Ms. Moore has performed on flute in the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, and the Prague Multicultural Orchestra. Her performance honors include selection as a 2024 CSU Concerto Competition winner, second place in the 2022 SAI Triennial Graduate Performance Woodwind Competition, winning the 2022 JoAnne Kyhl Memorial Performance Competition, and a 2021 masterclass selection with Lady Jeanne Galway. She currently performs in chamber ensembles for Denver and Northern Colorado areas.
Jenna Moore is a proud CSU alum. She performed in the CSU Marching Band throughout her undergraduate program, was a piccolo section leader for three seasons, and participated in the Presidential Pep and Rampage Basketball Bands. She was the principal flutist for the University Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Opera Orchestra and was president of Sigma Alpha Iota’s Mu Tau Chapter.
