Dr. Jacobi will present an invited session at the 2022 National Conference of the American Eurhythmics Society in Helotes, Texas on October 8, 2022. The title of the session is: “Developing the Child’s Sense of Touch: Tactile Activities Then and Now.”
Also, this fall, Dr. Jacobi will join the CSU Concert Orchestra on Dec. 4 for a performance of W.A. Mozart’s Piano Concerto in G Major (K.453). Read more about the free concert.
Dr. Erik Johnson presented research at national and international music education conferences in 2022, including the American Education Research Association Conference, held April 21-26 in San Diego, California; the 35th International Society for Music Education biennial conference, held July 17-22 in Brisbane, Australia;
In San Diego, Dr. Johnson gave a primary research presentation on the longitudinal developments of music teacher identity development from preservice through the first five years of teaching.
In Australia, he presented research on "Music Teacher Professional Development Cohort As An Agent Of Change."
