Gateway to the West

The Wind Symphony continues their celebration of Colorado, the West, and the outstanding artists of the premiere land-grant institution of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado State University. Join the ensemble in their final on-campus performance before traveling to Colorado Springs for the Colorado Music Educators Association invited convention performance on January 29, followed by their prestigious invitation to perform at the American Bandmasters Association Convention in Kansas City on February 24. Come hear guest faculty artist Peter Sommer on Ingolf Dahl’s award-winning composition Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Wind Orchestra, along with works by Jim David, Bruce Broughton and Henry Fillmore.
