Double reed consorts and combinations have been a fixture of small wind ensembles since the days of the earliest traveling musicians, through the explosions of Royal Fireworks, and to today, with contemporary composers exploring a variety of sounds from around the globe. Join the double reed faculty artists as they present four newcomers to the repertoire of double reed ensemble, including two world premiere performances. In this evening of all living composers and collaborative musicians, works featured include duos and trios by Connor Chee, Daniel Cueto, Katherine Pukinskis, and Alyssa Morris.
