This concert will be presented in-person and via livestream.

After over a year and a half of not performing live onstage, Dr. John McGuire returns to the Organ Recital Hall with Tim Burns (piano) in a recital based on music for nighttime. The program includes a world premiere by Traci Mendel (featuring Nicole Asel, mezzo soprano), Messiaen’s iconic Interstellar Call, and Britten’s masterwork Serenade for Tenor and Horn (with John Pierce, tenor). The recital closes with two dynamic pieces by Paul Basler for horn ensemble, “The Ascension” and “Harambee.”
