Songs and Arias of Separation

CSU faculty artist John Carlo Pierce, tenor, performs cantata arias with obbligato flute from works by J. S. Bach; “An die ferne Geliebte” by Ludwig van Beethoven; and songs by early 20th century American composers Henry Kimball Hadley and Wintter Watts. Dr. Pierce finds the songs by Hadley and Watts of particular interest calling them “unfairly forgotten and rarely heard in performance.”
