An American Songbook

The Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. Richard Frey, kicks off their season with a vibrant program of American works for wind band. Combining patriotic and contemporary pieces, this concert explores music in our contemporary society. Vincent Persichetti’s stirring A Lincoln Address, and Christopher Nelson’s beautiful setting of Wayfaring Stranger, are highlights of this all-American concert.
