CSU Spur MusicLab is a free, community-based, and culturally relevant music outreach program that provides elemental music education workshops and performance opportunities for learners of all ages with a focus on beginner and amateur musicianship. Doors are open to all levels of musicians, but no previous music experience is required to enjoy this musical community.

Please join us for the Music Research Colloquium Series when Dr. Dawn Grapes presents a lecture on “The Countess of Bedford, Royal Imagery, and Artistic Patronage in the Age of Elizabeth and Anna.” Dr. Grapes is an associate professor of Music History at CSU.
November 2, 2023 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm – CSU Jazz Combos present an evening of small-group jazz. Directed by Dr. Seth Lewis, Tom Amend, and Sean Sullivan, the combos present jazz standards, hidden gems, and original music by combo members.
October 31, 2023 @ 6:00 pm – 11:59 pm – The organ studio, with faculty artist Joel Bacon, presents the 18th annual Halloween Organ Extravaganza, with classic (and not-so-classic) works, including the famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach. If you think organ music or organists are boring, this concert will change your mind! Performances at 6, 8, and 10 p.m.
