Karl Pituch, principal horn in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and Denise Tryon, former member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and horn professor at the Cincinnati Conservatory, spend several days at CSU, giving a series of masterclasses designed specifically for orchestral auditions. “Since Audition Mode, I have been in the finals in almost every single audition I’ve taken and won two of them. This is an invaluable experience that I would recommend to any horn player,” says David Smith, principal horn of The Florida Orchestra. The masterclass is free and open to public observation.
