This concert, centered around Latin American music will feature works by Brazillian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Alberto Ginastera from Argentina. It will include Sonata for Cello and Piano 1957, by the African-American composer George Walker, in addition to Johannes Brahms’ Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 2 in F Major, Op. 99.
While there are no in-person events this spring, students, family, friends, and arts patrons can access live-streamed and/or on-demand performances created by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
