Dance Party
Concert Orchestra will celebrate dance music from two entirely different eras. Graduate Conducting student Drew Mendizabal will open the program with several selections from Brahms Liebeslieder Waltzes. The performance will conclude with David Kechley’s Funky Chicken (originally written for the Kronos Quartet), led by Concert Orchestra conductor Leslie Stewart.
While there are no in-person events this fall, students, family, friends, and arts patrons can access live-streamed and/or on-demand performances created by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
