Frederick Teardo is director of music and organist at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Ala. Prior to his appointment in 2012, he held a six-year tenure as associate organist at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York City. He is also adjunct instructor of organ at the University of Montevallo, and currently serves as a lecturer at Samford University.
