The extraordinary Payton MacDonald gives a recital involving multiple percussion instruments utilized in a varied and interesting fashion. Described by the Los Angeles Times as an “…inventive, stylistically omnivorous composer and gifted performer…,” MacDonald is a full professor of music at William Paterson University and is co-artistic director of SHASTRA, an organization bringing together music of India and the West.
