Jung-Eun Kang, a native of Seoul, Korea, graduated from The Korean National University of Arts and received her Master of Music, Graduate Performance Diploma, and Doctor of Musical Arts from The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Kang won the grand prize in the Samic Competition in Korea, the Washington D.C. Catholic University Competition, the Elizabeth R. Memorial Competition, and the Russell C. Wonderic Memorial Competition. She is a recipient of the Pauline Favin Memorial Award at Peabody. As a soloist, Ms. Kang frequently performs in Korea and has also soloed with the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul String Ensemble, Citiphilharmonic Orchestra, and Kt Orchestra. Her performances have been broadcast on KBS. Ms. Kang is a professor at Jeju National University.
