If + When is a modern performance ensemble based in Denver, Colorado. With a variety of musical experience and influence, Kevin Keith and Ben Yats’ programs feature visual theatrics, spoken word, improvisation, and world influences. The two hold degrees from Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, and the Lamont School of Music. The duo’s current tour program features new and rarely performed music, self-composed improvisatory music, and South Indian Mridangam transcriptions. Composer Ryan Elvert’s Dances highlights the duo’s love for western classical music inspired by popular music.
