The Colorado Kodály Institute concludes their summer session with a free concert. During the concert, one student will be presented with the new Jenna Olschlager Williams memorial award.
Jenna Olschlager Williams was a precious member of the Kodály community at CSU, earning her M.M. in Music Education in 2010. Jenna was not only an outstanding Kodaly music teacher, but also served as president of R.O.C.K.E. (Regional Organization of Colorado Kodaly Educators Chapter). The award honors Jenna’s perseverance, dedication to teaching, and love for kids by going to a current CKI student who possesses these attributes. Jenna’s husband Mike and young daughter will present the new award in what will be a very special moment for everyone, particularly Jenna’s family.
