Bacchanalia! Organ Concert with Special Guests – Toga! Toga! Toga!

Toga! Toga! Toga!

The CSU Organ Studio and Joel Bacon – along with several special guests – are throwing a toga party to celebrate J.S. Bach’s 338th birthday. We’re pretty sure he would not have appreciated the pun on his name, but that’s not going to stop us. Bacchanalia!

The music will be mostly Bach, mostly serious, mostly organ, and entirely enjoyable. According to Dr. Joel Bacon, “Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres. Musica organi autem indivisibilis est.”

Concertgoers are kindly requested – though not strictly required – to wear semi-formal toga attire. A prize will be awarded for the best toga. Unlike other toga parties you may have attended, this one is family-friendly – if your family likes Bach, that is!
