Join the Band at the CSUMB Spring Game Extravaganza!

Experience what it’s like to perform with the CSU Marching Band during the Green and Gold Football Scrimmage. SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, April 11 at Canvas Stadium. More details to follow!

This event is open to high school juniors and seniors, transfer students, associate degree graduates, and current CSU students who want to see what it’s like to be in the CSU Marching Band. You will join members of the Fall 2026 CSU Marching Band for this event.

A registration form for the "CSUMB Spring Game Extravaganza" will be coming soon! Here are some things you can expect for the event:

• Attend sectionals and full band rehearsal before the game
• Students are invited for lunch with current band members and faculty
• Sit with the band during the Green and Gold Game in Canvas Stadium
• Perform with the CSU Marching Band

What to bring:

• Your instrument and lyre!
• Water bottle

We will have drums and sousaphones available to borrow. For all other instruments, we ask that you bring instruments from your high school program. If this is an issue, please contact Jenna Moore.

If you were in the CSU Marching Band in the fall, you will use the instrument you borrowed last season for this event (if applicable).

What to wear:

• Your CSUMB band T-shirt, your school's band T-shirt, or another T-shirt representing your school

• Jeans

• Athletic Shoes
