Be a Music Therapy Major for a Day

Join us on the Colorado State University campus and experience a day in the life of a music therapy major! The day is an opportunity for high school students, transfer students, associate degree graduates, and current CSU students (and their parents/guardians) to see what it is like being a music therapy major at CSU.

Attend music therapy courses
Observe clinical programming
Talk with current music therapy students
Tour the music therapy clinics, Brainwaves Lab, and the UCA
Parents are welcome!
There is no cost to attend the music therapy visit day.

Sample Schedule – subject to change

8:45–9:00 a.m.: Welcome!
9:00–9:30 a.m.: Observe/participant in a music therapy group in our clinic
9:30–10:00 a.m.: Observe MU 257 Leading Group Ensembles
10:00–11:00 a.m.: Visit with music therapy faculty and current students
11:00–12:00 p.m.: Building tour and lunch (lunch is included at no charge)
12:00–1:15 p.m.: Observe MU 241 Introduction to Music Therapy
1:30–2:00 p.m.: Observe/participant in a music therapy group in our clinic
2:00–2:30 p.m.: Debrief | Questions
