CSU Music Education alums are invited to join us on March 24 at Boettcher Concert Hall for a reception and matinee performance by the Colorado Symphony and Colorado Symphony Chorus of W.A. Mozart’s Requiem Mass, conducted by Peter Oundjian.
Reception:
Sunday, March 24 at 11:30 a.m., Bach Room, Boettcher Concert Hall. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. Tickets to the reception and the concert are free. Registrants may request a “plus one” ticket. Please RSVP using the form below. Tickets are limited!
Concert:
Take in Mozart’s final and greatest masterpiece! The Requiem’s genesis is shrouded in mystery, making the piece all the more fascinating and emotionally stirring. The concert includes two quintessentially French compositions in Fauré’s Pavane — a stunning take on a 16th-century Spanish court dance — and Debussy’s Nocturnes, rounding out a performance that will leave you awestruck. www.artsandvenuesdenver.com
