Modern Soundscapes

CSU faculty artist Shilo Stroman performs a concert of modern soundscapes featuring a world premiere piece for vibraphone processed through guitar pedals by Ben Hylton, an original snare solo by Stroman, and other works by living composers. Stroman, described as a musical chameleon determined to fit into any musical situation, with a desire to push the artistic envelop is a versatile performer with credits ranging from playing the triangle in symphony orchestras, electric bass in salsa bands, drums in funk bands, and flowerpots in chamber groups.
