The varied graduate trio program includes Twelve Scotch popular songs by Joseph Haydn; the trio will be joined by voice student Emmanuel Bonilla. The program continues with the rarely played, single movement work Andante con moto in C minor, EG 116 by Edvard Grieg. The program concludes with Dmitri Shostakovich’s Trio No. 2 in E minor for Violin, Cello, and Piano
Students playing on the recital include Annie Smith, violin; Avery Smith, cello; Tommy O Malley, piano (Haydn and Grieg); and Ty Huey, piano (Shostakovich).
