The Contemporary Music Series at CSU continues with a funk concert by Grammy award-winning bassist Victor Wooten, with Rod Taylor, bass, and J.D. Blair, drums, joined by special guest Bob Hemenger, saxophone.
During their time on campus, the musicians will give a master class at 2 p.m. in room 158 at the UCA. The session is free, but registration is required as space is limited. Click here for details.

About the Musicians
Victor Wooten is an educator, composer, arranger, producer, vocalist, and five-time Grammy Award-winning musician.
Rod Taylor, Ph.D. is an award-winning educator, longtime musician, author of (E)tunes, a regular writer for Bass Player Magazine, and the President and CEO of Performance Learning Concepts.
J.D. Blair is known in music circles as “The Groove Regulator,” J.D. Blair is an award-winning drummer, having played for a variety of renowned artists, including Shania Twain for over 17 years. He’s played stages all over the world, including Super Bowl XXXVII.
Bob Hemenger is a Colo. based saxophonist and educator. He has appeared as a guest artist with numerous bands and genres, including the Victor Wooten Band, Darrell Scott, and the Zac Brown Band.
