Currently Director of Production at Colorado’s own Central City Opera since 2002, Karen Federing will be in residence at CSU to share an open master class with students at the University Center for the Arts, which is also open to the public. She has worked in a variety of production and administrative roles at such companies as Gotham Chamber Opera in New York, Opera Omaha in Nebraska, and at New York City Opera. Read more.

The Guest Professional Series allows students and the public to meet award-winning professionals who will be in-residence at CSU. These residencies offer theatre, music, and dance students the opportunity to work with professionals in the classroom and, at the end of their residencies, on a creative project that will be shared with the public.
