Topic: Strategies for Teaching Special Needs Students in Music Class
With Special Guest Ms. Kari Michael
Ms. Michael hails from Nevada and brings with her a wealth of experience in using the Kodály Methodology with her special education training. Ms. Michael will share with teachers ways in which to provide their special needs music students with an inclusive and welcoming environment. The workshop is hosted as part of the Summer Kodály Institute programming, however teachers not enrolled in the two-week program are encouraged to attend this one-day workshop.
