Study finds that singing, being male, and being an adult tend to produce more respiratory aerosols

CSU is very pleased to announce the publishing of the first peer-reviewed scientific paper based on the analysis of the data collected in the CSU study: Reducing Bioaerosol Emission and Exposures in the Performing Arts: A Scientific Roadmap for a Safe Return from COVID-19. The paper is available at Environmental Science and Technology Letters via open access. Dr. Volckens and his team are continuing to analyze data for wind playing, with the intention of another peer-reviewed submission based on that analysis.
