DESCRIPTION:Music for Motion\n\nSphere Ensemble presents the world premiere
  of Music for Motion\, a commission written by American composer and Pulit
 zer Prize finalist Carter Pann\, with a program of works featuring an expl
 oration of movement. The concert features faculty artist Dr. Forest Greeno
 ugh on double bass.\n\nSphere Ensemble is a 14-piece band of string player
 s: violin\, viola\, cello\, and bass. The group prioritizes music by compo
 sers\, which is often overlooked in classical programming\, and much of th
 e repertoire is arranged by ensemble members. From classical to classic ro
 ck\, baroque to hip hop\, Sphere’s selections are exciting and might be 
 more than you expected. The ensemble will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. t
 he same day.
