DESCRIPTION:For the first time in many years\, the University Symphony Orch
 estra and orchestra alumni\, conducted by Wes Kenney\, takes on the magnif
 icent music of Gustav Mahler with a performance of his Symphony No. 7. Thi
 s unique piece left a deep impression on a young Arnold Schoenberg\, who b
 ecame fully devoted to Mahler’s music\, declaring\, "After hearing the 3
 rd and now the 7th\, I am completely yours.” “The work is huge in scop
 e and has all the trappings of other Mahler symphonies: A march first move
 ment\, two ‘Night Music’ movements framing a large scherzo\, and a ron
