 ’s chamber orchestra’s classical concert features Overture No. 1 by Lo
 uise Farrenc\, a contemporary of Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert\,
  and the first woman to hold a faculty position at the Paris Conservatoire
 . The Sinfonia\, conducted by Maestro Wes Kenney\, welcomes one of the dep
 artment’s newest faculty artists\, Kathryn Harms\, who joins Michelle St
 anley\, flute\, for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s delightful Concerto for Fl
 ute\, Harp\, and Orchestra in C Major\, K. 299/297c. The orchestra also pe
 rforms French composer Camille Saint-Saens' Symphony in A Major\, which is
  an early composition rediscovered in 1974.\n\nConcert programs are availa
 ble in a virtual format only and may be viewed via a QR code at the perfor
 mance when available.
