 bean soul\, the Dalí Quartet is today’s freshest voice in Classical and
  Latin-American music. Anchored in both Venezuela’s El Sistema and in Am
 erican classical conservatory traditions\, this exciting quartet combines 
 the best of both worlds.\n\nThe Dalí Quartet’s captivating performances
  of traditional string quartet and Latin-American repertoire create an ext
 raordinary concert experience that takes listeners on an eclectic journey 
 of rhythm and sound. In the spirit of famed Spanish artist Salvador Dalí\
 , the Dalí Quartet embraces imagination and excellence as central to its 
 art form.\n\nThe quartet is comprised of award-winning solo and chamber ar
 tists who have appeared at Carnegie Hall\, toured widely in Europe and Asi
 a\, collaborated with some of the finest composers of our time\, and recor
 ded for Dorian\, Centaur and Naxos. Based in Philadelphia\, the Dalí Quar
 tet has brought the Latin-Classical connection to television\, festivals\,
  educational\, and presenting organizations on tour in Canada\, the U.S.\,
  and South America. Recent and upcoming engagements include performances f
 or distinguished chamber music series and major universities in New York\,
  Toronto\, Washington D.C.\, Detroit\, Portland (OR)\, Tulsa\, San Jose (C
 A)\, East Lansing\, Des Moines and beyond.\n\nThe group’s adventurous an
 d entertaining programming includes new works for quartet with percussioni
 st Orlando Cotto\, and quintets both Latin and classical with the renowned
  clarinetist Ricardo Morales\, principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia O
 rchestra.\n\nThe Dalí Quartet serves as Quartet in Residence for the Arts
  & Community Network where it hosts the Dali Quartet International Music F
 estival. The Dalí is also a Resident Ensemble of the Black Pearl Chamber 
 Orchestra in Philadelphia\, serves as West Chester University’s 2015-201
 6 Brandywine Artist-in-Residence\, and IRIS Orchestra Resident Ensemble as
  well. A part of the Dalí Quartet’s mission includes the presentation o
 f many Latin-Classical educational programs each year – its popular even
 ts for students in grades K-12 are complemented by interactive concerts fo
 r the entire family. On tour\, the group gives master-classes and professi
 onal development workshops for students at colleges and universities\, has
  inaugurated a library series for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society\,
  and has created outreach programming for all the 4th grade students in Tu
 lsa’s Any Given Child program.\n\nTrained by world-renowned artists\, me
 mbers of the Dalí Quartet are products of Venezuela’s social and music 
 education movement El Sistema and have studied at esteemed institutions su
 ch as the Cleveland Institute of Music\, Yale University\, Indiana Univers
 ity Bloomington and the Simón Bolivar Conservatory in Caracas\, Venezuela
