SUMMARY:LIVESTREAM: Jazz Ensemble Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join our CSU Jazz Ensembles for a live stream event exploring t
 he 10-piece Jazz repertoire. Smaller sized "big bands" have always existed
  for various musical and logistical reasons throughout the history of Jazz
  from the early Kansas City Count Basie groups\, through the Miles Davis N
 onet\, the Marty Paitch Dectet\, and many more. Many composers and arrange
 rs have reveled in the light\, subtle beauty of the smaller\, mixed-voice 
 jazz ensemble. Although we've reduced our ensemble sizes due to pandemic s
 afety concerns\, the music thrives in this setting\, providing a precious 
 opportunity to enjoy some lesser-known high-quality Jazz. Jazz Ensembles I
  and II will feature music by Gerry Mulligan\, Marty Paitch\, Billy Strayh
 orn\, Wil Swindler\, and more.\n\nRead the Program Here.\n\nWhile there ar
 e no in-person events this spring\, students\, family\, friends\, and arts
  patrons can access live-streamed and/or on-demand performances created by
  the School of Music\, Theatre\, and Dance. Livestreams will be hosted on 
 our Vimeo account and access will be provided through https://csuartsticke

 \nTicket sales for live-streamed events end 15-minutes prior to the start 
 of the performance.
