DESCRIPTION:This solo recital given by Robert Hill is the first to feature 
 CSU’s new harpsichord. Built this summer by Bruce Kennedy\, whose worksh
 op in Tuscany produces world-famous harpsichords\, the instrument is a Ger
 man double-manual (after M. Mietke\, 1702-1704)\, capable of playing a ran
 ge of keyboard music\, but especially that of J.S. Bach. Dr. Hill is the E
 ugene D. Eaton\, Jr. Chair in Baroque Music Performance\, and professor of
  harpsichord at the University of Colorado. Prior to CU\, he served for mo
 re than 20 years as professor for historical keyboard instruments and perf
 ormance practice at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in Germa
 ny.\n\nThe program features Johann Sebastian Bach's Clavier-Übung IV\,
  The "Goldberg" Variations BWV 988\n\nIf you are not excited enough about
