 ry of Music\, presents a guest artist recital with CSU faculty-artists Juh
 yun Lee\, piano and Peter Sommer\, saxophone\, featuring new and standard 
 solo and chamber works for concert saxophone. Dr. Bunte is an internationa
 lly recognized master of the instrument\, lauded for his expressive and pr
 ecise performance and dynamic programming. A native of Colorado\, Dr. Bunt
 e is excited to perform for students and community on the Front Range.\n\n
 Dr. James Bunte is Professor of Saxophone and Division Head of Performance
  Studies at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CC
 M). A native of Colorado\, he earned degrees from the University of Colora
 do at Boulder (BM\, BME)\, and CCM (MM\, DMA). As a concert saxophonist\, 
 James Bunte is an active recitalist\, giving recitals and master classes t
 hroughout the United States\, France\, Thailand\, Scotland\, Japan\, and T
 aiwan.\n\nDr. Bunte is the regular saxophonist with the Cincinnati Symphon
 y Orchestra and has recorded eight compact discs with the Cincinnati Symph
 ony and Cincinnati Pops. Bunte has performed with the Lyrique en Mer Orche
 stra (France)\, Dayton Philharmonic\, Lexington Philharmonic\, Louisville 
 Symphony Orchestra\, Eugene Symphony\, Charleston Symphony\, Richmond Symp
 hony (IN)\, Kentucky Symphony\, Springfield Symphony (OH) and the Colorado
  Music Festival Orchestra.
