DESCRIPTION:Then\, Here\, Now: Journeys of Love and Reflection \n\nThrough 
 the music of André Previn\, Christopher Cerrone\, Rosephanye Powell\, and
  others\, this program examines love’s evolution—from longing and loss
  to self-understanding and hope. These song cycles reveal deeply personal 
 narratives expressed through diverse contemporary musical languages\, high
 lighting the breadth of the modern art song tradition.\n\nEmily Martin\, a
 n acclaimed American soprano and New England native\, has built a dynamic 
 30-year career as an opera singer\, stage director\, voice teacher\, vocol
 ogist\, yoga instructor\, and arts leader. Praised for her "enchanting iri
 descence" (The Sarasota Herald-Tribune)\, she has performed globally\, inc
 luding with The Santa Fe Opera and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. The Chica
 go Tribune named her 2020 album\, Let Evening Come\, one of 10 "Best Class
 ical Recordings of 2020." She looks forward to recital dates in 2025-2026 
 in Utah\, Virginia\, Colorado\, and Melbourne\, Australia.\n\nAn educator 
 and SVI-trained vocologist\, Emily has served on the voice faculty at The 
 Royal Conservatory at The Hague and earned a Fulbright Award in the Nether
 lands (2022-2023). She co-founded the facilitation firm em2CONNECT to rede
 fine arts education and support for emerging and professional artists. Cur
 rently\, the Ellen P. Williams Associate Professor of Music\, Director of 
 the Bucknell Voice Lab at Bucknell University and the Faculty Fellow for t
 he Pericelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship &amp\; Innovation\, Emily 
 will be presenting on entrepreneurship in the arts at the College Music So
 ciety 2025 National Conference and 2026 Think Tank summit\, as well as the
  2026 National Association of Teachers of Singing National Conference. Emi
 ly integrates wellness\, entrepreneurship\, and innovation into her teachi
 ng\, inspiring the next generation of artists while advancing the field of
