DESCRIPTION:New or Gently Used Works for Trumpet and Piano\n\nJoin us for a
  recital by Texas A&amp\;M University-Commerce trumpet professor\, Dr. Dan
 iel Kelly\, and Libby Vanatta\, piano professor at Texas A&amp\;M Universi
 ty-Commerce. The husband-and-wife duo present a diverse program of contemp
 orary works for trumpet and piano.\n\nDaniel Kelly joined Texas A&amp\;M U
 niversity-Commerce in 2010 after serving on the faculties of Indiana State
  University and the University of Southern Mississippi.\n\nDr. Kelly is pr
 incipal trumpet of the Colorado MahlerFest in Boulder\, a member of The Da
 llas Winds and The Classical Music Festival Orchestra (Austria)\, and has 
 performed with the Charleston Symphony\, Plano Symphony\, Allen Philharmon
 ic\, Northeast Texas Symphony\, Mobile Symphony and Opera Orchestras\, Gul
 f Coast Symphony\, Mississippi Symphony\, Meridian Symphony\, Sinfonia Gul
 f Coast\, Terre Haute Symphony and Brass Quintet\, Philharmonia à Vent\, 
 Columbus Brass\, The Prairie Ensemble\, Champaign-Urbana (IL) Symphony and
  Brass Quintet\, Baroque Artists of Champaign-Urbana (BACH)\, Peoria Bach 
 Festival Orchestra. He is also a founding member of The Ambassador Brass Q
 uintet\, which has presented concerts and workshops in the US\, Thailand\,
  Vietnam and China. More recently Dr. Kelly has presented recitals and mas
 ter classes at the Campina Grande International Music Festival (Brazil) an
 d Shenzen Conservatory (China).\n\nLibby Vanatta\, a native of Middle Tenn
 essee\, joined the faculty of A&amp\;M-Commerce in 2010\, overseeing the u
 ndergraduate and graduate piano pedagogy degrees as well as coordinating t
 he class piano curriculum. Ms. Vanatta typically performs in over 100 coll
 aborative events per year in Commerce and throughout the country at confer
 ences and competitions. She holds a Bachelor of Science (music performance
 ) from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Music (pedagogy) from 
 the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
