DESCRIPTION:Hapless Heroes\n\nThe Concert Orchestra\, conducted by Leslie S
 tewart\, presents the stories of two literary characters – Don Quixote a
 nd Orpheus – through music. Following the Don Quixote Suite by Georg Phi
 lipp Telemann\, actors from CSU Theater join the orchestra to present the 
 mythical tale of Orpheus and Eurydice\, including musical excerpts from Ch
 ristoph Willibald Gluck’s opera by the same name.\n\n“Last fall we col
 laborated with CSU Theatre actors in presenting excerpts from the Purcell 
 opera The Fairy's Kiss\, based on Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. 
 This was so fun we have invited them to join us again\,” explained Lesli
 e Stewart.
